The Consorci per a la Gestió de Residus del Vallès Oriental, the supramunicipal entity in charge of waste management in the county, commissioned ENT to writing a management programme for paper and cardboard waste.

According to the Catalan law, commercial waste must be given a differentiated treatment, and the establishments responsible for their generation must entirely assume the management costs.

The new programme designed, apart from helping municipalities fulfilling the law, favours higher recycling levels, with the positive environmental and economic consequences involved.
