ALEI PROJECT

In the municipality of Terrassa (Barcelona) ENT Environment and Management has promoted coordination among different NGOs working for the social integration in society of groups with most difficulties: handicapped, people with mental diseases, drug addicts.

This has been done by means of giving support to ALEI, a group of NGOs constituted with this end. We gave training to people in charge of the coordination, we also developed their web page (www.alei.org) and, particularly, studied how Public Administrations can introduce requisites in public tendering in order to favour these groups. These conditions are already in place in Terrassa, and have resulted in a number of new contracts
