• Articles and posters must be written in Spanish or Portuguese. Articles in English will be accepted as an exception if their content so merits.
• All submissions should be made through our electronic mail address: cidma@flacso.org.ec.

Format for Abstracts:

• Title
• Author 
• Affiliation
• Abstracts should not exceed 400 words.
• The title must be abstracted to a maximum of 5 key words.
• The thematic area must be properly identified for its main and secondary themes.

• Abstracts should be submitted by or before March 15, 2003.
• Acceptance of submitted abstracts will be notified by the Organizing Committee via e-mail by April 1, 2003
• Final papers must be in WORD or PDF and should be received at our offices by April 10, 2003 by e-mail.

Format for Posters:

• Posters should not exceed 130X100 cm.
• The following poster information should be e-mailed to our offices for evaluation: 
• Theme
• Identification of submitting organization (NGO) and description of the type of work carried out by the organization. Maximum to three pages. Representative or person to contact. (Telephone, FAX, e-mail).

• The requested poster information should be in our offices by March 15, 2003.
• Acceptance of submitted posters will be notified by the Organizing Committee via e-mail by April 1, 2003.
